The Definitive Edition of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, Rockstar Games’ forthcoming collection of GTA remasters, is now available on Steam. According to Steam IDs found by a member on the GTA Forums, the definitive versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas are all affected.
Another member on the GTA Forums has allegedly released the minimum and recommended PC requirements for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
Minimum needs are as follows:
- AMD FX-6300 / Intel Core i5-2700K
- AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB / Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB
- 8 GB RAM
- 45 GB of Disk Space

One of the game’s official product descriptions was also disclosed in a now-deleted Rockstar Games support document. The remasters will have a range of graphical improvements and controls influenced by Grand Theft Auto V, the most recent version.

The initial announcement for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition from Rockstar Games did not mention a Steam version, simply confirming that it will be available on PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher. Later this year, the collection will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
