Heroes of the Storm is one of Blizzard’s most popular games, with more than 25 million players and over 1.7 billion hours played each month. In November 2021, a bug causes all 24 heroes to be on the same team against only two opponents. Will this game-breaking bug be fixed before it becomes too late?

This is an unofficial list of new issues introduced with the most recent update, as well as bug fixes that occurred at the same time. If necessary, I’ll update this article.

New Bugs
Fountain of Health
- (Post by /u/Spazzo965) The cooldown text and the Invulnerable text are overlapping.
Storm League is a team in the Storm League.
Mal’Ganis
- This Hero has a potential to start the game with a placeholder Skin when played by AI (post by /u/WorstMedivhKR).
Probius
- The Photon Cannon does not change the target from non-heroic to heroic until the non-heroic target has died (credits to Sobb).
- When their Power Field is removed, Photon Cannon retains their current +2 Attack Speed from Warp In Pylon.
- Particle Accelerator (Level 7) stacks against Invulnerable foes since Echo Pulse (Level 1) does not check for them.
- Non-Heroic adversaries are not checked by the Particle Accelerator (Level 7).
Rehgar
- Stormcaller does not increase the range of Elemental Conduit’s free Lightning Shield (Level 20). (Level 1).
- The free Lightning Shield granted by Elemental Conduit (Level 20) does not offer secondary Shields during the additional 3 seconds provided by Rising Storm (Level 16).
Whitemane
- When Whitemane activates it, Zeal falsely reports that she loses 0 armor, but she really loses 25.
Yrel
- This Hero has a potential to start the game with a placeholder Skin when played by AI (post by /u/WorstMedivhKR).
Zagara
- Hunter Killer does not do any harm. Mutalisk (Level 16) suffers as a result.
Bug Fixes
General
- When the attacker is blinded or the victim is evading, the following difficulties have been resolved:
- Uther’s Lightbringer’s Hammer (Level 1).
- Rupture (Level 7) and Valeera’s Slice and Dice (Level 7) (Level 20).
- The Heroic Strike of Varian (Trait).
- Scarlet Wrath (Level 7) and Whitemane’s Saintly Greatstaff (Level 7) (Level 13).
- Master Warp-Blade (Level 16), Zeratul’s Shadow Hunter (Level 1), and Unwavering Pressure (Level 1). (Level 20).
- Let the Killing Begin, Zul’jin’s Grievous Throw, and Eye of Zul’jin (Level 13) (Level 16).
E.T.C.
- ETC may no longer Powerslide twice with Crowd Surfer while on Tour Bus (Level 20).
Lunara
- Except for Heroes that have a particular death state (post by /u/Spazzo965), Accelerated Contamination (Level 16) may no longer offer cooldown reduction from deceased Heroes.
Maiev
- The cooldown for Vault of the Wardens (Trait) is now included in the tooltip.
Valla
- Hatred now delivers a maximum of 6 percent additional Attack Damage instead of 5 percent in Creed of the Hunter (Level 1).
- Death Dealer (Level 4) now offers a 15% bonus damage instead of a 14 percent boost.
Varian
- When using Twin Blades, Shattering Throw (Level 13) now utilizes the right number for Attack Damage against Shields.
Whitemane
- Radiance (Level 16) now appropriately removes Zeal’s negative 25 Armor component and grants 15 Armor, rather than not removing it and instead providing 40 Armor to compensate for the negative 25 Armor while still granting the promised 15 Armor.
Xul
- Call for Help now ignores the Corpse Explosion (Trait).
Yrel
- Stuns may now appropriately interrupt Bubble Hearth (Level 20) during the first channel.
Zagara
- When capturing non-Heroes, Devoring Maw no longer fails to display enemy Heroes inside it.
- Monsters now take extra damage from Medusa Blades (Level 4).
Zeratul
- In the Stats tab, Shroud of Adun (Level 13) now adds to Zeratul’s Self-Healing/Shielding.
- In the Stats tab, Shadow Stride (Level 20) now adds to Zeratul’s Self-Healing/Shielding.
Zarya
- The primary target of Zarya’s Basic Attacks is no longer counted twice while using Deep Burn (Level 7).
Zul’jin
- The cooldown for Amani Rage (Active) may now be broadcast to your squad.
- The cooldown for Ensnare (Level 13) may now be revealed to your squad.
Notes
Rehgar
- The health of the Healing Totem (Level 4) scales by 4 percent every level, not 0.04 percent as stated in the Patch Notes.
